The Paithani saree isn’t just rich in embroidery but in history and culture as well. Made from very fine mulberry silk, this soft silk Paithani is considered one of the richest sarees in Maharashtra and features art that is more than 2000 years old. Developed in Paithan in Marathwada, Paithani silk sarees have evolved from a cotton base.
